The finalist teams of the IV Valencia Cup Girls in G19 and G16 categories were defined this Saturday: Mislata and Venus will face each other in the final match for the title of the oldest soccer players in the tournament (sub'19 stage) at 9:00 a.m.: 00h in the Dr. Lluch field; In the same stadium, at 10:30 a.m., the Norwegian Lyndamer FK will face the host CFF Marítim in their own field.
In the two younger categories, however, the semifinals will first be played at the start of the morning with a derby between Levante UD and Valencia CF and a duel between the North American Rush Select 10 and Tec Academy to reach the final G14. In the case of the G12, the only 8-a-side football category, the matches for passage to the final will be: Valencia-Mislata and Levante-At. Vallbonense.
After the forty games on the opening day on Friday, the same number of games were played on Saturday in two sessions. In the morning, the groups of each category were finalized to define the teams that went to the Final Phase A or B. In sub'19 and sub'16 they were resolved with a direct pass to the semifinals while in sub'14 and sub'12, with the largest number of groups were completed until the quarterfinals in the afternoon session.
In G19, Mislata CF and Joventut Almassora advanced to the semis as first and second in group 1; the Canadians from Venus FC and the Valencians from CDFB L'Eliana did the same in the 2nd. In the afternoon, Mislata beat L'Eliana by a tight 6-5 and will face Venus in the grand final, who made own match against Joventut Almassora.
In G16, the Norwegians Lyndamer FK and UE L'Alcudia entered the Final Phase A as first and second in group 1 while CFF Marítim and UD Mutilvera from Navarre did the same in group 2. The Nordics eliminated the Navarrese and the Marítim to L'Alcudia.
In G14, once the group stage was completed, in the afternoon, the quarterfinal matches were played. Levante eliminated L'Alcudia and got into the semi-finals, where they will meet Valencia, who lost the North American team from Rush Select 11. The other team from the same American club in contention did advance after beating First Vienna from Austria to face the Catalan-Canary Islands from the TEC Academy, who beat the Navarrese from Mutilvera.
In G12, the morning session allowed the group stage to conclude. So, in the quarterfinals, Valencia beat UD Paterna while Mislata CF defeated UE L'Alcudia. In the matches played in the afternoon, Levante beat Mutilvera and At. Vallbonense to BS Soccer. Valencia and Mislata will meet for a place in the 8-a-side football final; and in the other semifinal of the category Levante and At will face each other. Vallbonense.
