The Valencia Cup Girls 2025 registration period is now open for next Easter

The international women's youth football tournament will be held in its fifth edition between April 17 and 20 in the city of Turia

The València Cup Girls is already underway in its organisation for what will be its fifth edition between the 17th and 20th of April 2025. The international women's grassroots football tournament, organised by the Sportea Association, will be held again during the Easter period and the registration process for clubs is now open on the tournament's website (https://www.valenciacup.com/es/Inscr%C3%ADbete). In fact, until the 30th of September, the teams that register will do so completely free of charge, only those teams that need to have accommodation will have to pay the participation fee.
One of the main arteries of the Valencian capital will once again be the epicentre of the development of the matches of the different F8 and F11 categories. A unique space, with prepared facilities, and which is part of the face of the city as is the old bed of the Turia River, in addition to the fact that matches can be held in other fields and sub-venues given the growth of the tournament.
In its fourth edition, there was already a participation of 800 footballers from forty teams from six countries and two continents. In the last edition, Valencia CF was proclaimed absolute champion of the IV Valencia Cup Girls, thus snatching the title from Levante UD, which had held it since the first edition of this international tournament.
The fifth edition of the Valencia Cup Girls continues to bet on internationalization. “For 2025 we hope to exceed the number of foreign teams that participated in the last edition, since the objective is to turn the tournament into the maximum international reference for women's grassroots football,” says Fernando Brotons, director of the Valencia Cup Girls.
In any case, teams from different parts of Spain (teams from Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Cantabria, the Canary Islands and Navarre came) and from the Valencian Community itself took part in a tournament that brought together more than 800 footballers, who were presented at an opening ceremony at the Luis Puig Velodrome with the presence of nearly two thousand people in the stands of the venue.
As in previous editions, there will be various categories by age group: the G12 category of F8 (born after 01-01-2013), and the F11 categories between G14 (born after 01-01-2011), G16 (born after 01-01-2009), G19 (born after 01/01/2006) and G (any age). Furthermore, one of the key events in the tournament programme will be the exhibition match of the Referents or Legends, which, as an All-Star, as in previous editions with the support of Teika, will bring together footballers who were pioneers and referents at different stages for the development and brilliance of women's football.
The València Cup Girls, organised by the Sportea Association with the support of the Valencia City Council, the Valencia Provincial Council and the Comunitat de l'Esport of the Department of Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana, is a sporting and social event that works for the visibility of women's sport from the framework of football, which includes fundamental values ​​such as camaraderie, fair play, training, healthy competition and personal experiences. It has an international character and works to have teams from all over the Valencian Community, given its roots and roots, from the rest of Spain and from various countries around the world. In addition to institutional support, it has the backing of companies with a clear vocation for the promotion of women's sport such as Teika.
