The fourth edition of the València Cup Girls will represent a new step in the growth of the tournament in terms of participation figures in this international women's grassroots soccer event, which will be held next Easter, between March 28 and 31 of 2024 in the city of Turia. North America and Europe will be represented in Valencia in a tournament that is based on several pillars, on which the Sportea Association, its organization, is committed: sports, tourism, international and experiential.
Teams from six countries will be part of the Valencia Cup Girls lineup, whose registration is open: https://www.valenciacup.com/es/. Teams from the United States and Canada will arrive from North America, and from Europe squads from Italy, Austria, Norway, which repeats, and, logically, from Spain. So it goes from a single foreign country in the two previous editions to five together with the clubs represented from the national territory.
So it is a multicultural tournament due to its international feature, which represents a differential experience with respect to the participating teams, by having the possibility, within its four guaranteed matches (higher number in case of passing final phases), to compete against each other. with teams from different countries. At the same time, it clearly means a way to contribute tourism to the city of Valencia.
Precisely, one of the main arteries of the capital of Turia will once again be the epicenter of development of the matches of the different F8 and F11 categories. A unique space, with prepared facilities, and which is part of the face of the city such as the old bed of the Turia River, in addition to where matches can be held in other fields and sub-venues given the growth of the tournament.
As in previous editions, there will be various categories by age segments: the G12 category of F8 (born after 01-01-2012), and the F11 categories included between G14 (born after 01-01-2010), G16 ( born after 01-01-2008), G19 (born after 01/01/2005) and G (free age). In addition, one of the key events in the tournament program will be the exhibition match of the References or Legends, which as an All-Star, as in previous editions with the support of Teika, will bring together soccer players who were pioneers and references in different stages for the development and brilliance of women's football. In this edition, Spain's conquest of the World Championship would be celebrated at the same time. A key moment will be the opening of the tournament, on March 28, at the Luis Puig Velodrome.
